What is Clotrimazole 3 Vaginal Cream?

This is a review of Clotrimazole 3 Vaginal Cream. This is a great product on the market to help cleanse and support the balance of healthy bacteria in the body. Candida, or a yeast infection, can cause many uncomfortable symptoms and health issues when these bacteria are unbalanced. Some of these symptoms include brain fog, exhaustion, fatigue and memory loss. However, the most common symptoms that people experience are vaginal infections, jock itch, athlete’s foot, itchy skin or other digestive disorders. The good news is these symptoms are often reversible with a change in diet and the use of good supplemental treatment. We decided to conduct some independent research online. Read on to learn more about this product and whether it is right for your situation.

Ingredients

This is an over the counter medication, not an all natural supplement.  Those hoping for a natural treatment will want to seek out other options. The ingredients of this product include:

  • Clostrimazole USP 2%
  • Benzyl Alcohol
  • Cetostearyl Alcohol
  • Cetyl Esters Wax
  • 2 Octyldodecanol
  • Polysorbate-60
  • Purified Water
  • Sorbitan Monostearate

Dosage

Adults and children 12 years of age and over:

Vaginal cream — Insert one applicator full of cream into the vagina at bedtime for 3 days in a row.
External Cream — Squeeze a small amount of cream into your fingertip. Apply to itchy, irritated skin outside the vagina. Use 2 times daily for up to 7 days as needed.

Children under 12 years of age need to consult a doctor.

Side Effects

While no side effects are likely, this product states to stop use and consult a doctor if any of the following occur:

  • Symptoms do not get better in 3 days
  • Symptoms last more than 7 days
  • You get a rash or hives, abdominal pain, fever, chills, nausea, vomiting or foul-smelling vaginal discharge

Price

Internet pricing may vary from website to website. At the time of writing this review this product was found at a price of $13.49 for a 21 g tube. While this is a decent price consumers should be advised that good price is not the same as good quality.

Guarantee

This product does not offer a money-back guarantee. Consumers want to feel confident in trying out a new product.  It is disappointing that this product does not offer the security of a money back guarantee. Many comparable products offer guarantees.

Conclusion

Clotrimazole 3 Vaginal Cream contains a number of ingredients that will help cleanse and support healthy bacteria in the body. It is rather a letdown, however to find out that the manufacturers have no guarantee for their product, nor was it inspected in an FDA facility.
