What is Silent Night?

Getting a good night’s rest is sometimes difficult and leaves you feeling sluggish the next morning. Nature’s Way Silent Night claims to have designed an all-natural product to assist with sleep-related problems by promoting a relaxing effect on the nervous system resulting in a better night’s sleep.

Read our review of Silent Night to see what we have found out about this product:

Ingredients

Proprietary blend – 1.7g

  • Hops
  • Valerian
  • Lemon balm

It does appear to contain great natural ingredients however, there are no traces of melatonin which is an essential ingredient for promoting sleep by regulating blood levels and making you feel “less aware”. It is also concerning that there are no recommended daily values recorded on the label.

Dosage

Silent Night recommends taking 4 capsules one hour before bed. Due to the lack of daily values and percentages of the proprietary blend, we cannot be sure of the effectiveness of the product.

What is the Cost?

A bottle of 100 Silent Night capsules ranges from $6.29 to $8.29 online and is not sold directly on their website. There are no discounts available and it seems that one would need to shop around online from available distributors to compare which is selling the product at the best price. Shipping costs may also vary depending on each distributor shipping terms and conditions.

Manufacturer’s Guarantee

We have researched the both the manufacturer’s website and product bottles and have found no mention of a product guarantee. While Silent Night may or may not produce great results, the lack of guarantee is certainly a cause for concern when it comes to confidence in the product. By eliminating the trust factor between brand and consumer, customers are forced to receive money back from retailers instead if they are unsatisfied.

Our Final Review of Silent Night

There are a few positive points to note, Silent Night stays true to its word when it comes to the use of all-natural products including the plant-derived capsules.

Unfortunately, there are a few downsides and concerns. While the ingredients do contribute to alleviating sleep-related issues, the product does not include the use of melatonin which could affect the product’s effectiveness. Not only does Silent Night not offer a guarantee, there is also a warning label on the bottle which states that if difficulty in sleeping persists, one should see a physician. This sets off a few alarms when looking for trustworthy supplements, especially when it comes to something as important as sleep. We also found that the website did not provide much information on how the product works. When checking the FAQ’s, only one generic question is presented along with a generic vague answer. There are no testimonials or customer reviews present either and they had to be sourced from approved distributors. There were only a handful of feedback reviews, some of which had complaints about the dosage and the results stating that the product does not work as it claims to. Due to the lack of social proof, information and guarantee, this is not a product we can recommend.
