What is Future Biotics EstroComfort?

This is a review of FutureBiotics EstroComfort, one of the many products currently available that has been formulated to reduce the debilitating symptoms of menopause. Menopause occurs in women at any time from their mid-40s through mid-50s as their ovaries lose their ability to produce the hormones (estrogen) that govern menstrual cycles. The decreased hormone levels often lead to a variety of symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, tension, moodiness and water retention. Other symptoms that can be related to estrogen loss include weight gain, bone loss, bone fractures or osteoporosis, cardiovascular problems and inflammation of the joints.

EstroComfort is an all-natural phytoestrogen supplement. It includes other ingredients such as L-Theanine which are also said to relieve menopausal symptoms.

Other ingredients

Modified cellulose (vegetarian capsule); microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable stearate, stearic acid, silica, lavender oil.

The isoflavones in the SoyLife extract help to reduce hot flashes and high sweats while the black cohosh extract is said to improve general menopause symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, nervousness, and irritability. It may also assist with the preservation of bone density.  L-Theanine, a non-protein amino acid,  is said to relieve emotional stress and promote relaxation without inducing drowsiness. Magnolia bark and Date fruit extracts are also said to have a calming effect.

Bioperine has been included in the formulation to improve nutrient bioavailability, while the Ginger extract, Trikatu, Digezyme and Lactospore compound is included to boost digestion and absorption.

Vitamin B12 helps in the production of estrogen, which declines naturally during menopause. Vitamin B6 is a natural diuretic, and so helps to ease water retention and bloating while Folic Acid has been shown to be effective in reducing the severity, duration, and frequency of hot flashes. Red Clover has long been used for the relief of the most common menopausal symptoms as well as for improving bone mineral density and reducing the risk of heart-related problems.

Our Final Review of Future Biotics EstroComfort

As an all-natural product, Future Biotics EstroComfort is vegan- and vegetarian-friendly. It contains a wide range of ingredients that are clearly all designed to help ease the most common menopausal symptoms.

However, while it is relatively inexpensive when compared to other menopause relief products we evaluated, we were unable to find any reference to the type of quality controls used in the manufacturing process.
