Hydrozole Review

Hydrozole for Athlete's Foot

What is Hydrozole?

Hydrozole claims to be a dual-action solution for athlete’s foot. Known as tinea pedis, this fungal infection may result in many unwanted side effects such as burning, itching, swelling, as well as cracked and sore feet. This product’s dual action effect claims to ease the inflammation of the affected area while tackling infection. In this review, we shall assess the product’s ability to fulfill these claims, as well as the support provided by the manufacturer, to help you decide if this product is worthy of your purchase.

Ingredients

This product has two main active ingredients. 1% clotrimazole is the key fungus-fighting ingredient used to alleviate the fungus that causes the skin infection and prevents future infections. 1% hydrocortisone is known to relieve the symptomatic results of athletes foot; such as inflammation, pain, and itching. The key active ingredient, clotrimazole, has been known to cause skin irritations and may not be suitable for those with sensitive skin. This product is also lacking Undecylenic Acid which has been known to be effective in the fast and effective relief of athlete’s foot. This formula is also missing ingredients to nourish the skin to ensure fast healing. There is no mention if this product is all-natural, vegan-friendly, or cruelty-free. There is also no mention of the manufacturing facility having abided by strict GMP guidelines, which may suggest that quality assurance was not a priority during manufacture.

Dosage

This product provides a standard market dosage of 1% clotrimazole. As this ingredient may cause irritation, we recommend doing a patch test first. The manufacturer does not provide very clear and concise instructions on how to use this product. From what we understand; wash feet and toes, dry thoroughly, and apply the cream to the affected area. For best results, take action before the infection spreads; being sure to keep feet covered in communal areas, do not scratch as that aggravates the fungus, don’t wear shoes that promote sweating, and change socks every day. For infants under 2 years, doctor supervision is required during use of this product. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention.

What is the Cost?

To purchase a 30mg tube of Hydrozole, customers can only do so through a brick and mortar pharmacy, as this product is not available for purchase online. In saying so, we are uncertain if this product will be cost-effective or not.

Manufacturer’s Guarantee

There is no manufacturer guarantee stated on the product website. This showcases little to no confidence in the product on behalf of the manufacturer – which is concerning. Customer reviews are also absent, which is even more worrying as we do not have any indication that the product fulfills its claims of being an effective solution, as well as prevention, for athlete’s foot.

Our Final Review of Hydrozole

Hydrozole is a dual-action product that claims to relieve the effects of athlete’s foot, reducing inflammation while fighting fungus. The active ingredients in the product formula have been known to be effective in applications such as these. However, this product is not available for online purchase and may be difficult to find in local pharmacies. Furthermore, there is little confidence that the product does indeed fulfill its claims as there is no GMP manufacturing certification, manufacturer guarantee, or customer reviews. Thus, we do not recommend this product when there are many other well-supported and easily accessible products available.
