NailRenew Review

NailRenew for Nail Fungus

NailRenew for Nail Fungus

What is NailRenew?

Nail fungus (Onychomycosis) is an exceptionally common condition, affecting millions of people in America and around the world, and causing their nail to thicken and become brittle and cloudy.

This is a review of NailRenew, a product that has been specially formulated to treat this condition. It contains only one active ingredient, Tolnaftate, which is provided at the highest strength allowed by the FDA. In addition, the product, which is applied by using a built-in applicator dropper tip to place drops onto the nail, also contains a solvent and other surfactants and compounds that are designed to enable the active ingredient to penetrate deep into the nail bed.

According to the manufacturer, the result is a unique antifungal delivery system for both surface and hard to reach nail infections.

The recommended dosage is to apply one to three drops twice daily to fingernail or toenails, and allow time to dry before putting on any footwear or gloves. However, applying the drops more frequently could accelerate the results.

What Is The Cost?

At the time of writing this review, the manufacturer was offering a special deal on its website: buy two and get one bottle free.

The price for one bottle (a 30-day supply) was listed at $59.95.

For three bottles, with free shipping, the price was R39.95 each.

For five bottles, the price dropped to $35.95 each, with free shipping included.

Manufacturer’s Guarantee

NailRenew promises a full, 60-day money back guarantee if the product doesn’t work for you, or you are unsatisfied in any way. This applies to both used and unused bottles, but will not cover the cost of the return shipping. You have to contact NailRenew’s customer support center to arrange the return and get your refund.

Our Final Review Of NailRenew

NailRenew differs from many of the other nail fungus treatment options in that it is designed to penetrate through the nail and nail bed to enable its active anti-fungal ingredient, Tolnaftate, to get to the fungus lurking beneath the nail. It is manufactured in an FDA-registered facility using good manufacturing principles. Although it comes with a 60-day warranty, the procedure for returning unwanted bottles of the treatment seems to be a little complicated as you first have to contact the NailRenew customer support center.

Despite the fact that the  NailRenew reaches those hard to reach places where nail fungus hides, the manufacturer still recommends that you trim and file your infected nails every other time you apply the drops to the nail. The reason or this is that NailRenew doesn’t actually kill the fungus that is already in place – it simply drops it from spreading to the new nail as your nail grows out. You are therefore effectively trimming away the infected nail, rather than curing it. While this isn’t necessarily a bad option, it does mean that it could take a while for your new, uninfected nail to grow and replace the unhealthy one.
