What is NonyX Nail Gel?

This NonyX Nail Gel review was written to determine one thing:  Does this product treat nail discoloration as it claims? And is this product a convenient, easy-to-use option? There are many options for treating nail discoloration, and we want to ensure that you purchase the right one for your situation. Is NonyX Nail Gel the one?

Ingredients

The first ingredient listed in NonyX Nail Gel is deionized water. This undoubtedly serves as the base of the product, making it easy to use. The real ingredient to pay attention to, however, is listed second: Ethanoic Acid which is said to deal with the cause of nail discoloration, keratin debris build-up. The last two ingredients, xanthan gum and fragrance, are just around to thicken it up a bit and to make it smell nice.

Dosage

As is often the case with topical nail treatments, the directions that you have to follow are beyond complicated. The website actually has a numbered list of eleven steps. However, they can be condensed here. First, you apply one to two drops on the surface of your discolored nails two times per day, then spread the gel over the nail surface using the applicator tip. Try to get a bit beneath the tip of your nail. After allowing to dry over several minutes, you can put on footwear. You should try to apply after a bath, shower or any other activity where your feet get wet. Roughening the nail with an emery board helps, as well. Then, three to four weeks later, you’ll need to scrape keratin debris from under your nail with a special manicure tool. Repeat until discoloration is gone, generally three to four weeks.

What is the Cost?

A single four ounce bottle of NonyX costs $24.99 for a 4 oz bottle (a 6-month supply). If you purchase this product online, you are eligible for free shipping. They also offer a mail in rebate worth $5. Otherwise, you can buy this product in a brick and mortar store, and perhaps save even more. In certain stores, it’s as much as 20% off of the original price. But you do have to find a store that sells it first. At the time of writing you could also buy it on Amazon for less than on the manufacturer’s website.

Manufacturer’s Guarantee

Xenna, the company that makes NonyX Nail Gel, does offer a full money-back guarantee. If you aren’t satisfied with the product, you can return the unused portion, as well as a receipt, your name, and address, and mention that you are requesting a refund. You will receive a check. However, this is only valid for products sold in the United States. If you bought it from another country, you’re out of luck.

Our Final Review of NonyX Nail Gel

NonyX Nail Gel certainly has some things going for it. The main ingredient in it, Ethanoic Acid, seems to help prevent nail discoloration by getting rid of keratin debris. There is also a money-back guarantee available (although only available to those in the United States) lending some credence to its claims. At the time of our review it had reasonable (though not excellent) Amazon customer ratings with 76% positive scores and 16% negative. It is also tedious to use, making it a long, drawn-out treatment. You might want to consider looking elsewhere before purchasing.
