What is Orajel Mouth Sore Gel?

In today’s review, we are going to examine Orajel Mouth Sore Gel. This product provides relief from the pain of mouth sores caused by canker sores, cold sores, gum sores, cheek bites and braces. The product contains antiseptic to help prevent infection and astringents to remedy mouth irritation.

  • Benzalkonium Chloride – is used for control, prevention and improvement of several conditions and symptoms. Also, it is an oral antiseptic.

The other ingredients found in the product are Allantoin, Carbomer, Edetate Disodium, Mentha Piperita Oil, Polyethylene Glycol, Polysorbate 60, Propylene Glycol, Propyl Gallate, Water, Sodium Saccharin, Sorbic Acid and Stearyl Alcohol.

Dosage

You should not use the product if you have a history of allergy to local anesthetics such as Procaine, Butacaine or Benzocaine. Even if you have not experienced the aforementioned conditions, check with your health expert prior to using this product. The manufacturer has recommended that the product should be applied to the affected area 4 times every day.  You should not use the product for more than 7 days.

What is the Cost?

The product is not available from the official site. On Amazon, retailers that stock the product are listed. The product is a 0.42-ounce gel that may be purchased for $7.04. Shipping costs are included in this price. If you go to the official site, you can collect a coupon, which will give you a discount on the product.

Manufacturer’s Guarantee

We have checked the official site, as well as Amazon, and we could not find any guarantee for this product. As the product does not contain any guarantee, this gives an indication that the manufacturer does not believe in the product. When the manufacturer is certain that the product can deliver consistent results to customers, a guarantee is inherent.

Our Final Review of Orajel Mouth Sore Gel

Orajel Mouth Sore Gel is a product that provides relief from the pain of mouth sores caused by canker sores, cold sores, gum sores, cheek bites and braces. The product contains antiseptic to help prevent infection and astringents to remedy mouth irritation. One of the biggest concerns we discovered regarding the product is the guarantee. The manufacturer has not given a guarantee for the product. In most cases, when a product does not contain a guarantee, it is an indication that the manufacturer does not believe that the product will yield optimal results consistently. The product does not have many customer reviews. When a product lacks customer testimonials, it means that the product has not been bought by many people. Taking into consideration that this product does not have a guarantee nor many testimonials by customers on Amazon to attest that the product works, we consider this a risky purchase. If the product does not work for you, it will be a waste of money.
