What is Hair La Vie Revitalizing Hair Blend?

Hair La Vie is a nutritional supplement formulated to promote and enhance the strength, vitality and growth of the hair you have. It categorizes its comprehensive ingredient list into three types: One set of ingredients is said to hydrate the scalp, a second is claimed to reinforce hair roots and the third purportedly strengthens your hair. The manufacturer says the ingredients have been clinically proven to help grow and strengthen women’s hair. (We note that none of the studies are actually cited on the product website). Read on for more details to help you decide if Revitalizing Hair Blend is right for you.

Ingredients

There are 20 natural ingredients in this supplement that are said to promote 3 phases of improved hair. It has no synthetic fillers or additives.

Scalp hydration stage

  • Biotin
  • Pantothenic Acid
  • Vitamin A
  • MSM
  • Vitamin K
  • Flax seed oil

Root reinforcing stage

  • B-complex vitamins
  • Vitamin B 3

  • Borage Oil Powder
  • Vitamin B2
  • Kelp

Strengthening Hair Stage

Biotin is a common ingredient in hair products and is said to bolster the structure of your keratin, the latter being a protein that makes up hair, skin and nails. Zinc is another regular contributor to hair improvement ingredients list and is an important nutrient that contributes to the functioning of countless of enzymes in the body. It, and biotin, are so common because a deficiency of both is correlated to hair loss. Borage oil powder is interesting in that it is much less frequently included. It helps contribute high levels of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), a strong anti-inflammatory and one of a number of Omega-6 fatty acids that may promote skin and hair growth.

Dosage

You take one tablet at breakfast and one at dinner every day for 3 to 6 months.

What is the Cost?

You can buy this supplement from the manufacturer’s website. At the time of our review the purchase price for online for a 30 day supply (one bottle) was $48.00. There is also an option to buy 3 bottles at 41.33 each or 6 at $36.50 each.

Manufacturer’s Guarantee

The company offers a solid 90-day money-back guarantee, accepting both opened and unopened product, “no questions asked”.

Our Final Review of Hair La Vie

Hair La Vie has certainly put some thought into its thorough ingredient list, trying to cover all the bases in helping you grow more vibrant looking hair. It has what it calls a three-stage formula that works with on the the scalp, the roots and hair strength to promote beautiful hair . We like the strong 90-day money-back guarantee which allows you to try the product virtually risk-free. However, it should be noted that the company does not promote this as a hair regrowth product. It only works on, and with, the hair you have. It is not for those trying to regrow hair.

One thing that concerns us is the cost, especially given that you will need to use this product for three to six months. Even if you buy the best-price 6-month package, if you use it all, you will have paid well over $200. Is nicer hair worth that kind of investment? Putting the 206 “reviews” on the manufacturer’s website aside (every single one of them giving the product a positive rating, a phenomenon we have never seen for any product on Amazon) we were unable to find sufficient customer feedback to get a handle on the product’s effectiveness.
