What is Ketologic BHB?

In this review of Ketologic BHB, we determine if the product is a suitable ketogenic electrolyte powder. As per the label on the product, the manufacturer claims that the product will enhance (mental and physical) performance, suppress appetite and boost energy levels, and it has been formulated while keeping those on a ketogenic, paleo or low-carb diet in mind. This powder has no artificial, colors or flavorings and has no sugar added.

Ingredients

  • Magnesium
  • Calcium
  • Sodium
  • Potassium
  • Beta Hydroxybutyrate

Calcium is proven to assist with muscular functions and aids bone health while Magnesium aids digestive health. Sodium and Potassium, when paired, work together to maintain blood pressure. Beta-Hydroxybutyrate (daily value not established) influences the body into ketogenesis, where it metabolizes fat for fuel instead of carbohydrates. It is directly utilized by the brain as a source of energy and is known to stabilize insulin levels, promote weight-loss and boost energy levels.

Other Ingredients:

  • Calcium Beta Hydroxybutyrate
  • Magnesium Beta Hydroxybutyrate Trihydrate
  • Sodium Beta Hydroxybutyrate
  • Tripotassium citrate
  • Silicon dioxide

Sodium Beta Hydroxybutyrate, Calcium Beta Hydroxybutyrate, and Magnesium Beta Hydroxybutyrate Trihydrate are all different forms of BHB. They work together to deliver health benefits and thus, have been nicknamed “superfuel”.
We notice that as part of the other ingredients included in the formulation, that a preservative has been by the name of Silicon Dioxide. We are disappointed to see that they have added this ingredient as it means that the supplement may not be as efficient as preservatives are known to stunt the performance of the supplement.
In this review we focus on Patriot Pop flavor, however, we find it worth mentioning that the flavor of Cucumber Lime is not Vegan or Non-GMO.

Dosage

The manufacturer recommends that 2 scoops be mixed with 16-24 oz of water for the best results, otherwise, 1 scoop in 8-12 oz of water is suggested. Drink throughout the day as needed.

What is the Cost?

The manufacturer sells their product online. A container of 60 servings costs $99.99.

Manufacturer’s Guarantee

After our in-depth research, no guarantee or returns policy was found. We are concerned as to why this might be, as most leading brands prevent their customers from taking risks when purchasing their products by solidifying their promise of quality with a guarantee. The window period of this guarantee is 365 days and they comfort their customers by ensuring that they get  100% of their money back should they be dissatisfied.

Our Final Review of Ketologic BHB

We like that this product wields some good customer reviews and that the product is free from artificial colors, flavors, and sugars. Although after taking everything into consideration, we are concerned as to why the manufacturer does not protect their customers with a guarantee. This gives us a bad impression of the manufacturer and makes us question if they are fully confident in their product. We are also let down by the fact that there is Silicon Dioxide (a preservative) present in the supplement. This may ultimately decrease the performance of the supplement.
We would rather suggest that other exogenous supplements be considered for ketogenic benefits.
