What is BSN Nitrix 2.0?

We review BSN’s Nitrix 2.0 which has been formulated as a concentrated nitric oxide precursor. This means the supplement is designed to produce the nitric oxide that will increase the blood supply to your muscles as well as the other benefits that have made nitric oxide supplements so popular with athletes.

In effect, Nitrix 2.0 is designed to support key areas of your workout and training efforts including your workout performance, endurance, pumps, and recovery.

Niacin is a B-vitamin that helps to convert food into energy. It is also said to improve blood circulation and there is some evidence to suggest that it may help to reduce inflammation.

Citrulline is an amino acid that is believed to increase the quality of nitric oxide in the blood.

The various fruit extracts and herbal supplements contain antioxidants which help to protect cells against the ravages caused by free radicals.

The Myogenic Matrix consists of a creatine blend.  Creatine is often taken as a sports supplement to improve performance, particularly of people doing high-intensity, short-duration exercise such as weightlifting.

Dosage

A serving size is 3 tablets. The recommended dosage is one serving twice daily – that is, 6 tablets per day. Ideally, you should take 3 tablets 60 minutes prior to your workout or training, and another 3 tables one hour after exercise.

What is the Cost?

For 60 tablets, you can expect to $35 directly from the manufacturer’s website. However, we found other online retailers that offered the product for a far more affordable $27.29 for 90 tablets; or 180 tablets for $64, 51 – do so shop around.

Manufacturer’s Guarantee

We were unable to find any information about a possible guarantee from the manufacturer. If you purchase from another online retailer, be sure to check out that retailers return policy in case the supplement does not meet your expectations.

Our Final Review of BSN Nitrix 2.0

BSN Nitrix 2.0 contains some potent ingredients which athletes and weightlifters will find beneficial. For example, it contains the myogenic Matrix,  a creatine blend which, when taken as directed, will deliver 3g of creatine daily. This should be sufficient to boost the workout performance of the average athlete.

The product also contains several fruits and herbal ingredients that have probably been included to provide antioxidant benefits. However, there is some controversy about whether antioxidant supplements actually work in reversing or slowing the damage the body’s cells suffer during exercise.

BSN Nitrix 2.0 is distributed from a facility that has Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification. However, we could not establish if the product is actually manufactured there, or what the quality control practices are related to the ingredients used.
