What is Swanson Witch Hazel?

This is a review of Swanson Full Spectrum Witch Hazel. It is seen as a general tonic of herbs for overall health. The product contains a full spectrum of witch hazel. This herb is used to strengthen blood vessels and reduce the symptoms of varicose veins. It can also help reduce the swelling and pain that goes with varicose veins. To learn more about Swanson Full Spectrum Witch Hazel and if it is worth a try, read our review below.

Ingredients

The main active ingredient in this product is 400 mg witch hazel (Hamamelis virginiana) per capsule. This is a herb that aids in the support of varicose veins and helps reduce the symptoms thereof. Swanson Full Spectrum Witch Hazel lacks a combination of essential ingredients such as horse chestnut, rutin, butcher’s broom, and hesperidin. These ingredients, in combination with the witch hazel would help treat and promote ultimate vascular health. Other ingredients which make up the capsule include gelatin and rice flour. Swanson Full Spectrum Witch Hazel may contain magnesium stearate and silica.

Dosage

The manufacturer suggests taking one capsule per day with water. The instructions are unclear and a customer will not know when the best time of day would be to take the capsule. A customer will not know if the capsule should be taken before, during or after a meal. Vague dosage instructions like this could prevent a customer from purchasing the product.

What is the Cost?

The product can be purchased online from the manufacturer’s website. A bottle of 60 capsules will cost $6.49. It is currently on sale for $4.19. This is very cheap and may indicate low quality ingredients. If your total purchase is over $50, you may qualify for a 10% discount and free shipping.

Manufacturer’s Guarantee

The manufacturer does offer a return on their products. A customer who is not satisfied with the results of the product may return the unused portion within 30-days for a full refund. Follow the steps on the manufacturer’s website to return your product.

Our Final Review of Swanson Full Spectrum Witch Hazel

There are a few things we like about Swanson Full Spectrum Witch Hazel. It comes in easy to swallow capsules and the manufacturer offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on products that are already used.

There are however a few concerns we have about the product. The only main active ingredient in the product is witch hazel. Essential ingredients such as horse chestnut, rutin, butcher’s broom, and hesperidin are lacking. These would work in combination with the witch hazel to provide a total solution for the care and treatment of varicose veins and for promoting vascular health. Without these ingredients, the product will not be able to work optimally for satisfactory results. There is a lack of dosage instructions which could confuse a client as to when the capsule may be taken and if it should be taken with a meal.

Another concern we have is the price of the product. A low price is always nice to see, however a low price may also indicate that the quality and purity of the ingredients may be low. These reasons indicate that the product is possibly of low quality and may be ineffective. For these reasons, we are unable to recommend Swanson Full Spectrum Witch Hazel.
