Press Forskolin is a dietary supplement that can be used to help people lose weight by burning fat and suppressing appetite. At the same time, it is also designed to boost energy levels. Those are the main uses for forskolin but it may actually have several health benefits. It has been tested as an asthma suppressor, and it increases bone mineral density. It has also been shown to increase testosterone levels and reduce blood pressure.

All of these health effects seem to come from the one enzyme that forskolin extract targets and this enzyme is quite common throughout the various tissues in the body.

There are many forskolin weight loss supplements available on the market, but they are not all of equal quality. What distinguishes one product from another is not only how effective the product is, but also how the manufacturer deals with their customers.

This supplement consists of the active ingredient forskolin with a natural cocoa flavoring as well as whey protein and soya. Soya beans contain several unsaturated fatty acids which can assist in the weight loss goal and other health benefits as the body uses them. The whey protein provides various amino acids for the body to use. The manufacturer claims that they contain necessary vitamins and minerals but this is not really true.

But really the most important ingredient is the forskolin extract. Forskolin has been studied for many years now because of its medicinal potential. It is currently being reviewed for inclusion as a pharmaceutical medication. This means that the research into forskolin is massive.

Some of the research conducted on forskolin has concluded that it activates an enzyme called adenylate cyclase. Adenylate cyclase is found in just about every cell of the human body. Its simple function is to produce a molecule called cAMP, which in turn activates many other chemical reactions in the cell.

In fat cells, they cause the breakdown of long fatty chains stored within the cell and release smaller chains that can be used as energy. As this happens across many fat cells, there is a significant reduction in overall fat mass.

The activation of adenylate cyclase in other kinds of cells like certain nerve cells, for example, increases electrical activity in the body which is able to boost metabolism.

Another effect of adenylate cyclase activation is the release of amphetamine-like chemicals in the brain which has been linked with a reduction in hunger and appetite. This is possibly also the cause of the observed improved mood of participants who took forskolin in some of the scientific studies about it.

It is difficult to say whether this forskolin weight loss supplement will actually exhibit all of these effects because the dosage of forskolin in this product is not specified and it is mixed with other ingredients, where most good manufacturers include pure forskolin as this is what the scientific studies used. In fact, the forskolin is part of a proprietary blend that includes 23 vitamins and minerals – but these are not specified nor are their quantities. It is also not entirely clear from the manufacturer’s description whether the ingredients are all natural or whether there are some chemical additives.

In general, as we have observed from the many forskolin reviews that we have written, that a dosage of around 500 mg per day is optimal, according to the supplement that is standardized to 20%.

If the supplement provides the right dosage and is not overwhelmed with impurities, one of the main benefits from taking forskolin is assistance with weight loss and improved energy levels. Considering that forskolin exhibits numerous effects on the body it would be most concise to say that forskolin improves the overall feeling of physical and emotional well-being. It is a good supplement to have if you feel generally down about your health and mentality.

It is important for customers to keep in mind that the best benefits of the supplement are seen when living a healthy lifestyle as well,  including eating the right foods and getting enough exercise. Forskolin helps to boost these aspects of life and can even be used to kick-start this sort of lifestyle if you have been struggling with it previously.

Forskolin doesn’t normally have adverse effects on most people. In some cases, it can cause small side effects for a short time. When customers should be really concerned is if the following symptoms persist for several weeks:

  • Fast heart rate
  • Low blood pressure
  • Headache
  • Increased bleeding

These effects are often seen when customers are taking forskolin with long-term medication for diabetes or heart conditions. It is very important that if you are breastfeeding or pregnant or if you have any chronic conditions, that you consult a physician before taking a forskolin supplement.

It is again difficult to comment on the other ingredients because the full ingredient list is not provided by the manufacturer. The supplement may contain allergens (soya is a known allergen) or some ingredients that could be harmful in other ways. It is always safer to go with a supplement that you have the full ingredient list for.

Purchasing Press Forskolin requires signing up for their free 14-day trial (although shipping is charged to the customer)  and then the onus is on the customer to contact the manufacturer within that time to cancel the subscription they signed up to with the 14-day trial. In other words, if customers do not contact the manufacturer at all within the time specified they are auto-billed for a month supply and will receive a new package every month until they cancel. The charge per month is not provided.

We often warn customers against signing up for these free trials because they have several clauses in them that can be used to catch the customer out and make it very difficult for them to cancel the subscription, which means they may end up paying for a product they don’t even want to use. It is just a way for customers to go with manufacturers who do not auto-bill where the sale is once off and final.

Customer feedback is provided by the manufacturer. All of the feedback is positive about the supplement. Customers should note that this product is not sold through any online third-party retailers that provide unbiased customer reviews, so these testimonies should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Taking a forskolin weight loss supplement can really help people to improve their general health and well-being, but it is important that they take the right one. Some customers that have purchased this product seem to like it, but there are also some concerning features about this product. The manufacturer distributes the product on a free trial auto-bill basis, which can often catch customers out and have unauthorized charges to their credit card that are difficult to cancel.

This manufacturer is also not completely clear and forthcoming about their ingredient list or the dosage of each ingredient, which makes it difficult for the customer to understand what they are committing to before they decide to go ahead. In general, there are much less risky pure forskolin weight loss supplements on the market.
