What is MacaPause?

MacaPause claims to help keep hormone levels balance in woman going through the menopause phase of life. It claims to help keep the bones and heart healthy. According to MacaPause it differs from other Maca produced supplements because it contains the highest concentrations of its active ingredient, Maca. The product is 100% organic as well as being vegan friendly

Ingredients

  • Maca – scientifically known as lepidium peruvianum; is a plant that originates in central Peru, high in the plateaus of the Andes mountain range. For over 3,000 years it has been harvested as a crop and is closely related to the radish. It smells similar to butterscotch and is used in medicines. It has been used to alleviate the symptoms of anemia, chronic fatigue syndrome and to help enhance energy, memory and fertility in woman. Women mainly use the root to aid relief from menstrual problems and menopause.
  • Potassium – a mineral that the human body needs to function normally. It helps the muscles and nerves communicate and moves nutrients into cells while helping waste products leave them. Potassium helps counter the sodium’s harmful side effects of blood pressure. It can be found in leafy green vegetables, vine fruits, root vegetables and citrus fruits.
  • Cellulose – a substance that makes up most of a plant’s cell walls. Humans can not break down cellulose but it is an important part of a healthy diet. It aids proper digestion and helps movements inside of our intestines.

Dosage

MacaPause recommends taking two capsules twice a day between meals. After two months of usage, it is suggested that taking a one week break is necessary. After four months and up to eight months, the dosage can then be halved to help maintain improvements.

Side Effects

MacaPause is not recommended for individuals who are taking Tamoxifen or hormonal suppressants. There are some reported side effects associated with taking this supplement such as headaches, bloating, fluttering heart, diarrhea and disturbances in sleep. In very rare cases it has been stated that a persistent stomach upset may arise.

 Price

MacaPause costs $24.99 for a pack of 120 capsules. The company does provide one free pack when you purchase two. This lowers the cost to $23.33 for a month supply.

Guarantee

MacaPause does guarantee significant improvement within the first eight weeks of use. They will refund your purchase price (not including shipping cost) if the product does not improve your condition.

 Conclusion

Maca has been proven in clinical studies to help reduce hormonal imbalance and reduce the symptoms of menopause. MacaPause is certified as 100% organic and is an all-natural product. It’s guarantee and price point is great. However, this product is not FDA cleared.
