What is aSquared Nutrition Thyroid Support?

The thyroid is responsible for regulating metabolism and a range of hormonal functions from heat regulation to mood, so when it malfunctions, the impact is big. This gland is situated near the base of the neck and can be either overactive or underactive. If underactive, you’ll gain weight, feel sluggish and experience brain fog, amongst other symptoms. You will probably also feel hotter than average most of the time. If overactive, you’ll lose weight drastically and unhealthily, feel cold, and likely irritable too. Depression and mood sensitivity is associated with both disorders.

The thyroid uses iodine and the amino acid L-tyrosine to create T3 and T4, the regulatory hormones. However, most of us do not meet the 150 mcg intake of iodine required. Anything way over this can also cause problems. ASquared Nutrition says it has put together a blend of herbs, vitamins, minerals and amino acids to support the thyroid, boost energy and metabolism, and increase overall wellbeing

Ingredients

  • Vitamin B12
  • Kelp
  • Iodine
  • Magnesium
  • Zinc
  • Selenium
  • Copper
  • Manganese
  • Molybdenum
  • L-Tyrosine
  • Schizandra powder
  • L-Tyrosine
  • Bladderwrack powder
  • Cayenne Pepper

The formula is quite a familiar – and therefore, sensible one. Missing are Thiamin (Vitamin B1), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) and Vitamin B6 – but these provide added long-term support. They are therefore desirable, not essential. On the other hand, you won’t find cayenne pepper for metabolic support and brown seaweed extract, or Bladderwrack powder. The latter is iodine rich such as kelp, but also mineral and antioxidant-rich to rid the thyroid of toxin build up.

Tyrosine, Iodine, Zinc, Copper, and Selenium al; boost thyroid hormone production as they are sources of amino acids and iodine required to make T3 and T4. Vitamin B12 will counter the feeling of sluggishness and brain fog that a malfunctioning thyroid can cause.

Dosage

Take 2 capsules daily preferably with meals or as directed by a healthcare professional. Do not administer to children.

What Is The Cost?

Each bottle contains 180 capsules. At 2 capsules per servings – or 90 servings in other words – this gives you a 3-month supply. This is the pricing per single bottle and the bulk discounts that apply when you purchase from aSquared’s online shop:

1 bottle: $24.99
2 bottles: $22.49 – 10% Off
3 bottles: $21.24 – 15% Off
4 bottles: $19.99 – 20% Off

Manufacturer’s Guarantee

There is a 30-day money back guarantee but all is not what it seems. You can’t test the product for efficacy as you may only return unopened products within 30 days. That means you’ll only be able to invoke this policy if you buy in bulk, and will lose the money you paid for the bottle you open and use. Secondly, there is an approval process for returns.

Our Final Review Of aSquared Nutrition Thyroid Support

This product contains the daily recommended mcg allowance of iodine, and a range of natural metabolites, amino acids and iodine sources. It should naturally boost the thyroid’s ability to produce T3 and T4 in a non-invasive way that is unlikely to cause further imbalance.

Thyroid Support represents good value for money as you are paying less for a 1-month’s supply than you are for a 3-month’s supply with some other products. But the issue is that if you buy 1 bottle and it has no effect, you have made a risky purchase as you cannot return open products. We would also have preferred to see the inclusion of vitamins B1 and B6 for added deficiency support.
