What is Female Balance?

Kroeger Herb Female Balance is an herbal supplement formulated specifically for woman going through the phases of menopause. It is claimed to offer relief of the typical complications and discomforts associated with menopause as well as mood swings. It is claimed to work by balancing the electromagnetic levels of woman suffering through menopause.

Ingredients

Female Balance is made up of the following four ingredients:

  • Black Cohosh root – the root of a North American plant that has been used for various illnesses for centuries. It is very popular in the treatment of menopause symptoms. As standard treatments have a multitude of risks, the popularity of this root has increased over the last 10 years. It is used to help relieve headache, hot flashes, and changes in mood, sleep disturbances, heart palpitations, and vaginal dryness. There is some evidence that Black Cohosh does help relieve these symptoms but other uses have less support of scientific evidence.
  • Anise – the seed of this herb and its oil are used to treat upset stomach, flatulence, runny nose, and as expectorant to help make coughs more productive. It can be used as a diuretic to increase urine and as an appetite stimulant. Women typically use anise seed to increase milk flow while breast feeding and treat menstrual discomfort. Men use it to treat “male menopause”. It is most commonly known as a flavoring agent for food.
  • Yellow Dock root – comes from an herb where the stalks are used in salads and the root is used in medicine. It is used to reduce inflammation of the nasal passages and respiratory tract. Yellow Dock is also used as a laxative and to treat bacterial infections.
  • Ginger root – is a plant used in food as a spice and seasoning. It has been used as a traditional remedy for many things for thousands of years. There is evidence it helps with upset stomach, nausea, increases saliva and aids in digestion. Studies have shown that in over 60% of woman, ginger helped reduces period pain.

Dosage

Female Balance should be taken between meals in the amount of two capsules per day.

Price

Female Balance has a suggested retail price of $12.99, currently on some sites; it is up to 40% off the price. There are 100 capsules in each bottle.

Conclusion

Unfortunately Female Balance does not come with a guarantee which raises concerns over the company’s confidence in their product. The ingredients found in Female Balance are beneficial to users in some way, but they are not designed specifically or shown to be beneficial to woman suffering from the symptoms of menopause.
