What is Remifemin?

Remifemin is an all-natural way to ease your menopause symptoms. It comes in tablet form, and its main ingredient is black cohosh extract, an ingredient well-known for its use in stopping menopause symptoms. It sounds amazing. However, while writing this review of Remifemin, we learned a few things that made us wonder if it was really that good.

Ingredients

The main ingredient in this product is 20mg black cohosh extract. Other ingredients include:

  • Lactose
  • Cellulose
  • Potato Starch
  • Magnesium Stearate
  • Natural Peppermint Flavor

Although there are other ingredients listed, the only one that really does any good at easing symptoms of menopause is black cohosh extract. This is an ingredient that has a history of being used for the treatment of unpleasant menopause symptoms. It’s most famously used for preventing or easing hot flashes and night sweats. As for the other ingredients listed above, these are all just what goes into making the tablet itself, however, they may be unnecessary ingredients to consume.

Dosage

The directions for using Remifemin are as simple as its ingredients list. To see symptom relief, take one tablet in the morning and one in the evening; make sure to drink water with it. Simple is usually better. However, in this case, it might not be. It can take weeks of taking two tablets daily to see any marked results. It can take even longer than that before you get more tangible relief. If you’re looking for a fast option for your symptoms, you should probably look elsewhere.

What is the Cost?

It wasn’t easy to find the price for a 60-tablet bottle of Remifemin. In fact, the website itself doesn’t even have the price where it can readily be found. Instead, it gives a list of places where you can purchase it, both by buying online and in stores. We have found that the average price for 60 tablets is $12-$18. Because it is so difficult to find the price, and because it is sold in so many different places, it’s impossible to know what all the sales are and other discounts you might be eligible for.

Manufacturer’s Guarantee

Despite looking through the website’s pages, we couldn’t find any information about guarantees of any sort. This includes guarantees that the product will work as it has been advertised, as well as guarantees that promise to refund the purchase price, should you not be happy with it. This is normally a sign that there is something amiss. The manufacturer does provide information about clinical studies that this product was a part of.

Our Final Review of Remifemin

It’s true that Remifemin has one main ingredient that works to stop menopause symptoms. Black Cohosh Extract is commonly found in other formulas to stop menopause symptoms, as well. This is a big plus. However, it certainly isn’t without fault. This Remifemin review has found that there are no other ingredients to stop these unpleasant menopause symptoms. Furthermore, there aren’t any guarantees that it will work, nor that you will get your money back. Combined with the fact that it can take weeks to work, Remifemin might not be worth the money you would want to spend.
