What is Back2Basix Yacon Root?

Yacon Root extract became popular to take as a weight loss supplement after it was endorsed by a popular American TV doctor. Manufacturer’s rushed to produce their own versions of Yacon Root products and while some are authentic and worthwhile, others are cheap, synthetic versions that are unsafe for human consumption. This review is going to take a closer look at Back2 Basix Yacon Root. This product is a dietary supplement that is composed of Yacon Root extract. The manufacturer claims that their supplement is rich in antioxidants which will smoothly remove your fat and will help you to maintain healthy blood sugar levels and fight insulin resistance. They also claim that it will help you maintain a balanced appetite, support digestive health and supplement an optimal metabolism.

Ingredients

The only active ingredient in this product is Yacon Root. Every serving contains 1000 mg and comes in the form of capsules. Yacon Root is native to South America and is commonly used as a low-calorie sweetener or as a weight loss supplement. It has a high dosage of fructooligosaccharides which can lower levels of triglycerides and low-density lipoprotein or bad cholesterol. It also contains compounds that function as prebiotics which improve digestive health and treat certain types of colitis. This prebiotic influences the development of microflora in the digestive tract, leading to improved gastrointestinal fermentation. It is also believed that it can cause regular and frequent bowel movements.

Dosage

Back2Basix does not share the dosage instructions online.

What is the Cost?

This product is exclusively available to purchase through third-party online retailers. We found it online for $7.99 for one 60 capsule bottle. Each bottle is reduced by a few cents the more bottles you purchase but pricing, bulk purchasing options, and discounts will vary according to the retailer you purchase from.

Guarantee

We were unable to find a manufacturer’s guarantee. Any guarantees will be subject to the terms and conditions of the third-party retailer you purchase from. This is especially risky because if you try this supplement and it doesn’t work for you or you experience adverse side effects, you may get your money back.

Our Final Review of Back2Basix Yacon Root

This product appears to be a decent weight loss supplement that can potentially help you lose weight. Every capsule contains a decent serving of Yacon Root extract and there are several bulk purchasing options. However, the bulk purchasing options are limited and minimal. The manufacturer also does little to explain the risks and benefits about their product. The information they offer is limited and they do not disclose the label information which is imperative information to know when choosing a supplement. Furthermore, there are nearly no consumer reviews available on this product to attest to the integrity of this supplement. Without consumer reviews, there is no way to know whether or not this product has had real results for real people. Taking these factors into consideration, it is risky to purchase a product without knowing enough information about it. You are probably better off purchasing a product that has more information and positive consumer reviews.
